Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager | Tangent

Tangent is seeking a proactive and experienced EHS Manager to lead and evolve our Environmental, Health & Safety strategy across all facilities. What You’ll Do

As our EHS Manager , you will:

• Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive safety programs and policies.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
• Inspect facilities, identify risks, and proactively drive improvements.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver safety and compliance training programs.
• Monitor safety metrics and implement corrective actions to reduce risk.
• Support emergency preparedness efforts and incident response.
• Partner cross-functionally with leadership, engineering, maintenance, and operations to foster a culture of safety and accountability.
• Manage OSHA logs, hazardous materials documentation, and annual safety reporting requirements.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Health, or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
• OSHA 30-hour certification required .
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS leadership role, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in inspection tools and reporting platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and conduct training or site walkthroughs as needed.
