Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from RETS Associates RETS Associates, on behalf of one of Los Angeles' premier owners of Class A office and retail properties, is seeking a S enior Property Accountant in Los Angeles, CA . This position will report to the Controller. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for providing financial information to the organization by maintaining and reconciling accounts including but not limited to: the preparation of financial statement reports, journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable and daily/monthly cash disbursements and receipts. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Produces portfolio level reports including portfolio summary and leasing dashboard; tracks and records leasing activity • Prepares and distributes monthly financial reports including journal entries, financial statements and bank reconciliations • Reviews leases and reconciles income per the rent roll to the income statement to ensure accurate billing • Supervises cash management function including auditing petty cash and updating cash balances daily • Assist with annual budget preparation including calculation of depreciation, amortization, debt service and common area charges • Prepares annual common area expense reconciliations and annual estimates • Monthly update of fixed asset schedule QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university; or 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Senior Accountant. • Strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of lease language and CAM reconciliation calculations required • Experience with Yardi is preferred Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing, Finance, and Administrative Industries Real Estate and Accounting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at RETS Associates by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance Disability insurance 401(k) Paid maternity leave Paid paternity leave Get notified when a new job is posted.
