Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager / Head of OEM Sales to lead our OEM sales initiatives. This role is pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through customized hardware solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of OEM sales cycles, technical solution selling, and the ability to align BCDOEM’s offerings with client needs. Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing accounts within the OEM sector.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business objectives to offer tailored solutions.

· Lead the OEM sales team, setting clear goals, providing mentorship, and driving performance to achieve sales targets.

· Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.

· Work closely with engineering, product development, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of product offerings with market demands.

· Manage the negotiation and closing of complex sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and long-term partnerships.

· Provide regular updates to senior leadership on sales performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum of 8 years in business development or sales leadership roles within the OEM or technology sectors.

· Strong understanding of hardware solutions, embedded systems, and the ability to translate technical features into business benefits.

· Proven ability to lead and motivate sales teams, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.

· Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet with clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

· Familiarity with sectors such as security, AI, edge computing, computer vision or industrial automation.

· Established network with Independent Software Vendors preferably in AI, Surveillance/Computer Vision, and Access Control industries, utilizing existing relationships that can be leveraged for business development.

· Ability to analyze complex data sets to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.

· Expertise in B2B contract negotiations for mutual, long-term scale and growth.
