Human Resources Manager

Position Summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations for our client's dynamic organization. This pivotal role involves managing a small HR team, ensuring legal compliance, and aligning HR strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a deep understanding of employment law, and hands-on experience with HR systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of three HR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Talent Management: Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Employee Relations: Conduct coaching sessions and performance evaluations to support employee development and engagement.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage benefits programs, including open enrollment and employee claims resolution.
  • Compliance & Policy Enforcement: Ensure adherence to labor laws, benefits regulations, and internal policies outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Disciplinary Procedures: Implement fair and transparent disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • HR Systems & Reporting: Utilize Kronos and UKG for HR operations, including 401(k) audits and year-end reporting.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with ACA, FMLA, and other applicable regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Human Resources leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, and compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, particularly Kronos and UKG.
